EK Voetbal / European cup Soccer

Heel Nederland is in de ban van het voetbal. Het feit dat ik nu tijdens de wedstrijd Nederland-Frankrijk zit te bloggen zegt meer dan genoeg over mijn interesse voor voetbal............ Over het algemeen is Joram ook helemaal niet geinteresseerd in voetbal, maar hij is wel erg gevoelig voor wat er om hem heen gebeurt. Vandaag op school is er natuurlijk over de wedstrijd van vanavond gepraat en vanmiddag werden er zelfs nederlandse vlaggen op de wangen geschminkt. Dus Joram was overtuigd: Ik moet de wedstrijd zien! Hij wilde zijn oranje shirt aan, zijn gouden leeuw om en zijn toeter bij de hand. Hij was er helemaal klaar voor: Chips, borrelnootjes en sinas en het feest kon beginnen. Het eerste doelpunt voor Nederland viel en Joram ging zelfs toeteren. Toen er 35 minuten gespeeld was kwam Joram naar me toe: Ik wil eigenlijk wel naar bed (het was 21.20 uur) en vervolgens tegen Richard: Papa, vertel jij morgen wie er gewonnen heeft?

UPDATE: NEDERLAND HEEFT GEWONNEN MET 4-1

The whole country is totally into soccer these days. With the European Championships everybody seems to love soccer. The fact that I am blogging at this point of time says enough about my soccer interest: The game The Netherlands against France is on at this point.................... Over all Joram is not so much interested in soccer, but very influenced by what is happening around him. Today at school there was a lot af talking about tonights game. They even got the Dutch flag painted on their cheeks this afternoon. Joram was convinced: I have to see the game! He wanted his oranje shirt on, his golden lion necklace and his blow horm at hand. He was all ready to go. Chips and pop for during the game: Let the party start! The Netherlands scored the first goal and Joram even blew the horn. When the game was 35 minutes young Joram came up to me and said: I would really like to go to bed (it was 9.20 pm at that time) and he said to Richard: Daddy, will you tell me the final score tomorrow morning?
