My new Basic Grey and a photo update

Normally I am not such a big fan of Basic Grey, but I do like all the colorfull lines they have. I know there have been tons of new liners after this one but my newest addition is Lime Ricky. I love how playful it looks and those bright colors are amazing.                                                     The picture was taken last April when John and Pam (DH's brother and SIL) were over. They have two children, Simon and Danielle and Joram just loves to play with Danielle (They are a year-and-a-half apart). Every time I look at pictures like this I am reminded on how far apart we live (they live in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada) and that it would be so nice to spend some more time together.

Everything is back to normal again, the Christmas tree is gone and school has started again. One special thing is that for the last three weeks we have snow here. Joram has been playing outside almost the whole afternoon yesterday. All that snow makes the world just look a little more peaceful. All the supplies on this layout are by Basic Grey and it's based on a PageMaps sketch.

Normaal gesproken ben ik niet zo'n hele grote fan van Basic Grey, maar ik hou wel van de lijnen met de hele felle kleuren. Ik weet dat er inmiddels al weer heel veel nieuwe lijnen zijn uitgekomen, maar mijn laatste aanwinst is Lime Ricky. Het is een geweldige lijnen, heel speels met felle kleuren.

De foto is afgelopen april genomen toen manlief zijn en broer en schoonzus, John en Pam hier waren. Ze hebben twee kinderen, Simon en Danielle en Joram vindt het heerlijk om met Danielle te spelen (ze schelen maar anderhalf jaar).

Als ik zulke foto's zie word ik er iedere keer weer aan herinnerd hoe ver we uit elkaar wonen (zij wonen in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada) en dat het zo geweldig zou zijn als we wat meer tijd met elkaar zouden kunnen doorbrengen. Verder is alles hier weer redelijk normaal; de kerstboom  is weer weg en de school is weer begonnen. Iets bijzonders hier is toch wel dat we al drie weken sneeuw hebben. Joram heeft gisteren bijna de hele middag buiten gespeeld. Al die sneeuw maakt toch dat de wereld er een stuk vrediger uitziet.
