One of the advantages of living almost outside the city is that the woods are in walking distance. Yesterday the rain clouds were finally gone and we left for the woods with Diana and the kids to the woods. Bas and Nieneke had both brought their magnifying glasses so we were all ready to go. Mushroom time is gone so we did not see to many of those. But just the fact of leaving the city rush, hearing no cars and enjoying nature is priceless. The nice
thing about children is that they see something all the time and they are not afraid of touching the creepy and crawling stuff in the woods. Within minutes Joram had a little frog in his hands and we had to stop by every mushroom. There's also deer in the woods but I think they were hiding because of all the noise the kids made. After that we had sometihing warm to drink at Iwan and Diana's and we stayed there for dinner too and had a good time.
