Kreative Blogger Award

With the award came some simple rules:
1. The winner may put the logo on their blog.
2. Put a link to the person who sent you the award.
3. Nominate 5 blogs.
4. Provide links to their blogs.
5. Leave a message for your nominees.
Not too hard right???? So I nominated the following people (not in any particular order) I read their blogs and I sure think that you should pay them a visit too!
1. Elise, even though Elise does not have a creative blog, I do think she deserves an award: She has showed to be a very creative person and over the years that we've known eachother (our children have been best friends ever since they were 2 yo) we became good friends. Her blog is in Dutch.
2. Jess, Jess is the one who made me aware of WeScrap. I took two of her classes and enjoyed the techniques and her personality.
3. Paula, Paula is from Spain and she has an awesome blog about craft storage. Tons and tons of ideas. I got posted their a couple of times and there are always great ideas on her blog.
4. Jacqui, Jacqui is from South Africa and has a great blog with stories about scrapping but also about every day life. Shei s also one of the participants in the Fresh Face designers Contest.
5. Anne Marie, I got to know Anne Marie when I attended GotSketch 102. She is an awesome designer and is also one of the founders of Inspired Blueprints, my favorite sketch site!
Jacquelin, bedankt!

Super Star Circus
Cardstock: Bazzill
Dessinpapier: Making Memories
Rubons: Making Memories, Creative Imaginations, Crate Paper, Basic Grey, Kaisercraft
Quickutz: Stars (cookie cutters)
Verf: Delta Ceramcoat
Overig: bling
Joram is invited to a lot of birthday parties and he likes them all. But so far there has been one that was all he expected. (But you never know what still lies ahead?) That particular party was Nienke's birthday party. She threw a circus party and Joram loves the circus that that was a hit even before it started. There were awesome costumes, all kinds of activities to do and at the end a real show for all the parents (they were all sitting outside with popcorn and drinks) All the children were so nervous and all parents were so amazed that all the children actually did perform. Joram is the one with the orange wig who is pulling that funny face! The word circus is handcut.

Joram was four-and-a-half when he got the chickenpox. It was a week before summer vacation and they were everywhere. He had pox on the pams of his hands, on the soles of his feet and even on more private parts. But somehow they never showed up around his bellybutton. Ever since Joram was a baby I would be kissing his bellybutton. So when he asked why the pox were not there, the answer was easy: Because your mommy always kisses you there. Joram is now almost eight and I still kiss his bellybutton, but he also still remembers that he did not have chickenpox around his bellybutton.

I was just looking at my visitors counter and saw it hit the 10 000! That's reason enough for a party. And because it's not my birthday I thought I should be the one giving a present. And to make it a little more exciting I am posting a challenge! Here it is: Make a layout about a number. This could be a birthday, a house number or even a favorite number. Let your fantasy go.......
Post a comment with a link to your layout and I will announce a winner on December the 10th. Good luck to all of you!

Florence
Cardstock: Bazzill
Dessinpapier: Creative Imaginations
Chipboard: Heidi Swapp
Rubons: American Traditional
Quickutz: Cameo
Overig: Brad
By far one of the most beautiful cities in the world: Florence, Italy. You can enjoy, people, food, drinks, shops and culture. Everything has this great atmosphere. The photo on this layout was taken from the top of the dome of Florence. Richard took the photo, Joram and myself were eating ice cream at that time. We both did not like the thought of those steep chairs in between the walls of the dome.

Berg beklimmen in Zuid Frankrijk / Mountain climbing in Southern France
Cardstock: Bazzill, Doodlebug (glitter)
Brads: American Crafts
Rubons: Scenic Route, 7Gypsies, American Traditional
Last May we were in Southern France and the three of us climbed a mountain there (Okay, not a mountain, a very high hill) It was pretty steep and Joram thought it was quite scary every once in a while. When we got to the top we had a great view over the Mediterrean Sea. When we started to go down it turned out to be a lot harder than we thought and we had to do some extra climbing and descending to get back to the car.

Scraplift
De volgende tekst staat op de layout:
Depression can make things look different
It puts you in a different world
You look for the light to shine one day
But the light seems so far away
Depression is a dark place, a place you don't want to be
Some days are better than others, but those are few and far between
I try really hard to overcome this demon
With pills and prays but some days are just so hard
Depression is not a place I want to be
So I fight with all my might
For one day I will be free of this darkness
One day I will be ME

Yesterday I scraplifted a page. I was inspired by a page of Nancy Jones. Her style is really appealing, but it is also a style that is so not mine. I was inspired by all the flowers and the 'old' look she gave to her page. So I started grunging, scraping, sanding and tearing. I used a lot of ink and even adapted the flowers to the layout. I am pretty content with the final results, especially because this layout tells something about my disease. My great enemy: Depression. This is the journaling on the page:
