Flowers & Basic Grey

Who would have ever thought that I was going to be a fan of flowers (all sorts) and BG???? Not me. This months contest on RMH got me going: Flowers. Well, you can see in the last couple of LO's that the flowers are there.
Here another LO I just did.

PP: BG (what a surprise)
CS: Bazzill
Stickers: Junkitz, Doodlebug
Chipboard: Rusty Pickle
Rub-on: My Minds Eye
Other: Flowers

The scan is a bit blurry because of the bulkiness of the LO. The flowers were not really made for scrapping ;)

Just a beautiful picture

A beautiful picture does not really need a whole lot of fuzz. Sometimes a piece of CS is enough to show the picture at it's best. For this LO I chosse a little busier line of PP (Blush by BG). The rest of the LO is fairly simple.
Tag: My Minds Eye
Brads: MM, CI
Flowers: Prima, Bazzill, QK
Lint: DB, CI, Prima, Sweetwater
Pen: ZIG Millenium, Pentel Pigment gel

Too small.....................

I tried so hard to get those two pictures beside each other (to make it look like a spread). I thought I did a great job but now I find out you can't really see the details of the LO. And there are so many details in this one. So I put the single pages on. Who cares if it is a spread or not, right? :)

Finally...................

It took a while but I finally have the pictures from carnival (pieter, thank you for sending them!) I totally went crazy and used gold, bling and tons of other goodies. I used (or abused) my Crop-A-Dile to make tons of holes. I embossed the swirls (QK Revolution) with embossing powder and I found a horrible piece of ribbon in my stash that went perfect with this LO. I am very pleased with the final result: It really shows the atmosphere of that day:
Rub-ons: BG, DeLuxeDesign
Swirls: QK Revolution
Brads: MM

Flowers, flowers and more flowers

Everybody is following trends (Allright not everybody). Also in SB-land there are trends. Allthough I am not someone who follows trends, I have my own way of scrapping, I am totally into flowers the last couple of days. That is kind of funney, since I have no girls in the house. What caused it: A contest on RMH, the assignmetn whas to scrap with all sorts of flowers and I decided to go out of my box and participate. I already put three Lo's in the contest. Here they are:

The last LO is already an olnd one, but it shows really well that there's nothing wrong about combining boy's pictures with flowers and pink. De first LO is just Bazzill CS and flowers (Heidi Swapp, Bazzill, Prima) & rub-ons by Rhonna Farrer (Autumn Leaves). The second one (Joram's class picture from last year is made with Fancy Pants PP, Prima flowers, AC stickers, rub-ons by MM and chipboard by Maya Road. And now just hope I'll win something.............

Long time no see

Boy, time flies. It just seems like nothing happens, but that's not really true. Richard & Joram left for Canada last week to visit his parents and I decided to stay home. I miss them dearly but I am also having a blast all by myself. I scrapped, scrapped, and scrapped. And I must admit: I am pretty content with the results so far.
So let me show you: My latest creation is a very simple card. I QK-ed (love that word...........) lots of flowers and adhered them around my text (which is a PNG, soory forgot the source :() Couple of brads and that's it. Told you it was simple............

The LO I made with a sheet of pictures that were left from Joram school pictures last year. He already has new ones so I thought it was legit to use these ones instead of keeping them in the zip-lock forever. Also a very simple one.

PP: Basic Grey
Rub-ons: Fancy Pants, MM
Chipboard: Gin-X
Stickers: AC
Pen: Pentel Pigment (love that one, so much better than the Sakura Souffle)
