Halloween was yesterday. Since a couple of years Halloween is becoming big in The Netherlands. The last three years our neighbourhood is a real place for ghosts and withches on October the 31st. The kids go outside between six and six thirty for trick-or-treating and they're admired by their friends. More and more houses are decorated and it's a feast to walk around. Joram decided at the last moment he wanted to dress up as a mummy. But how do you make a seven yo boy into a mummy in only five minutes (that's all the time we had) Our first aid kit was taken out of its cabinet and we grabbed some rolls of toiletpaper and cling wrap to get the toiletpaper to hold on. With white theatre make-up on he made an awesome mummy. After walking around the neighbourhood we went to the Philipsfarm where the monthly kids activity was held and this night time was: (how surprising) Halloween! The children started with carving pumpkins and making witches brooms. After that they had a treasure hunt through the dark woods. Their route was lit with candles and they had to look for pictures of night animals. A great evening. The photo's on this layout were also taken last night. Joram with all his friends he came by on the street and at the farm!
The title Halloween is handcut.
