Sketch Wednesday at Let's Scrap

As every wednesday a new sketch came out at Let's Scrap today. I loved playing with this one. I only used the left side of the sketch and I tried to do it a bit different than usual. I challenged myself to only use leftovers and supplioes I normally won't use. Well, I think it worked out pretty good. I only used leftover papers and I even used the border punch that I once bought and NEVER used before.
I have so many pieces of paper scraps that I can probably make a whole album with those scraps. And combining papers from different lines is always fun and gives the layout a special look.

Cardstock: Bazzill
Patterned paper: K and Company, Scenic Route, Rhonna Farrer, Lily Bee Design, Making Memories
Transparency: Hambly Screen prints
Punch: Fiskars
Die-cuts: Quickutz
Pearls: Kaisercraft
Misc: Sewing machine

I tried to do something different with the two big hearts. I made two layers of paper and stitched them down in the middle and folded the sides up again. In real life it looks really good and you can better see how it looks on the detailed pics. And I did some stitching with my sewing machine here and there. Always like the effect it gives.
The pic from DD was taken in April 2010.

Right now I will be taking DS fro his vaccinations. He does not know yet, forogt to tell him. He'll de fine, mommy is more worried. I just hate it when my children are in pain...............

  1. Love your layout Debbie, the way you did the hearts really adds to it.
