De Tandenfee / The Tooth Fairy

Joram is niet heel snel met tanden wisselen en tot nu toe had ie maar drie tanden gewisseld, waarvan eentje in de zomervakantie. Die had hij er zelf uitgetrokken en die eerste twee waren er door Juf Esther uitgetrokken. Nu zaten al een paar weken zijn voortanden boven los en ik zei aan hetbegin van de week: Misschien moet je eens bij Juf Esther langs gaan (Hij zit nu immers bij Meester Jaap) Tussen de middag komt Joram de school uit en mist een voortand! Hij was er niet vanzelf uitgegaan maar hij had erg gebloed en uiteindelijk had Juf Esther hem er uit getrokken!

Maar de andere voortand zat ook erg los. En anders dan bij die andere drie tanden zat hij er nu flink aan te friemelen. Vanavond zat hij in bad en de tand hing echt helemaal los. Ik bood aan om hem er uit te trekken: Nee, mama, dat kan alleen Juf Esther. Jij hebt daar geen ervaring mee. Weet je soms waar Juf Esther woont, dan kunnen we daar even naar toe.

Uiteindelijk is hij zelf degene geweest die de tand eruit heeft getrokken. Het is vreselijk lollig, want hij slist en kan de F, T en S maar moeilijk uitspreken.

Joram has not been the fastest with exchanging teeth and so far he only had three teeth out. One of them during the summer vacation and the other two were pulled out by Miss Esther. For a couple of weeks his two upper front teeth were loose and in the beginning of the week I told Joram: Maybe you will have to visit Miss Esther (He is now in class by Mister Jaap) During lunch break Joram comes out the school with a front tooth missing! It had been been bleeding pretty bad and he went to Miss Esther and she pulled the tooth!

But the other upper front tooth was very loose too. And other than normal Joram was really trying to get it out. Tonight he was taking a bath and the tooth was only hanging on a string. I offered to pull it out: No mommy, only Miss Esther can do that. You have no experience. Do you know where she lives so we can go there now.

Finally he was the one who pulled it out. It is really funny, because he has a very hard time with pronouncing the F, S and T.
