31 Days of December

Ali Edwards had vorige week een focus op haar 'December Daily' album. Een geweldig album wat je vooraf maakt en daar later foto's aan toevoegt. In haar geval gaat het om de 25 dagen in december maar dat komt omdat ze in de VS zich vooral focussen op de kerst en natuurlijk nog nooit van onze eigen Sinterklaas hebben gehoord. Als ik zou hebben besloten om het over de 25 dagen in december te doen zou ik op 6 december moeten beginnen. Toch zonde van het groote Sinterklaasfeest wat we dan zullen missen in het album. Het principe van het album is eigenlijk heel makkelijk. Je neemt verschillende formaten en texturen papier en gaat daarmee aan de slag. Ali heeft haar album ingebonden met boekbindringen maar ik heb uiteindelijk er voor gekozen om mijn album in te binden met de Bind-it-All. De focus van het album ligt vooral op het vastleggen van herinneringen in de maand december en niet zozeer op de decoratie. Een erg leuk project om te doen! Nu nog foto's maken en herinneringen opschrijven, maar dat moet niet te moeilijk zijn.

Ali Edwards posted her December Daily album last week. A great labum that you make ahead of time and later add photo's and memories. In her case her album is called the 25 days of December but that is mainly becouse in the US they are focussed on Christmas and they have never ever heard of our own Sinterklaas. If my album had the 25 days of December in there I had to start at the sixth of December and totally miss out on the Sinterklaas party at the fifth. Making thealbum is actually quite easy. You take different sixes and different kinds of papers and start to work. Ali choose bookbinding rings to bind her album, I choose to use the Bind-it-All. The focus of this project is not decorating but keeping track of memories. A very nice project to do. The only thing left to do is make photo's and write down some memories of December. That should not be too hard.
